Prologue Page 1
Sapwood Guard is a personal project created with the goals of both telling a story and learning how to make a comic.
You might notice some stylistic shifts. The initial version of the first chapter (Ghost Town) went online in mid 2018. The five page prologue was created in 2020. Edits were made to improve the line quality and coloring of the earlier pages, as some were difficult to read.
I have opted to use chapter names without numbers in this revision. The prologue and first four chapters form an arc, but beyond that the sections will likely be less chronological and vary in length. This is to let me close out a complete story while still keeping the project open ended for the time being.
